5 Cookies
We use so-called cookies - also from third parties - on the basis of legitimate interests on our website. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. When you access a website, a cookie may be stored on your operating system. This cookie contains a characteristic string of characters that enables the browser to be uniquely identified when the website is called up again.
By means of a cookie, information and offers on our website can be optimized in your interest. Cookies enable us to recognize visitors. The purpose of this recognition is to make it easier for you to use our website.
Accepting cookies is not a prerequisite for visiting our website. By changing the settings in your Internet browser, you can set up your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Furthermore, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time.
The procedure for checking and deleting cookies depends on the browser you are using. You can find information on this in the help function of your browser. Alternatively, you can visit the website http://www.aboutcookies.org. There you will find step-by-step instructions on how to control and delete cookies in most browsers.
6 Analysis tools
Our website uses functions of the following web analysis services:
- Google Analytics 4
- Google AdWords
Details on the individual web analysis services can be found in the following explanations.
6.1 Google Analytics 4
Based on our legitimate interests, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google") (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google uses cookies.
We use Google Analytics including the functions of Universal Analytics. Universal Analytics allows us to analyze the activities on our pages across devices (e.g. when accessed via a laptop and later via a tablet). This makes it possible to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus analyze the activities of a user across devices.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law(https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
Google uses this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of users is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
You can prevent the collection and transmission of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link(http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. To prevent Universal Analytics from collecting data across different devices, you must opt out on all systems used. Further information on Universal Analytics can be found here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2838718?hl=de&ref_topic=6010376.
You can find more information on terms of use and data protection at https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/de/ or at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/.
6.2 Google AdWords
On the basis of legitimate interest, we use the "Google AdWords" advertising program belonging to Google Marketing Services Online, an analysis service from Google.
Google AdWords places a cookie on your computer ("conversion cookie") if you have reached our website via a Google ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that someone clicked on the ad and was redirected to our site. Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. We do not receive any information that can be used to identify you personally.
The information collected by the cookie about your use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Interest-relevant categories are assigned to your browser on the basis of the information collected. These categories are used to display interest-based advertising.
We use the data about you obtained with the above-mentioned cookie (so-called conversion tracking) for the following purposes:
- Remarketing
- Target groups with common interests
- user-defined target groups with common interests
- Ready-to-buy target groups
- similar target groups
- demographic and geographical targeting
You also have the option of objecting to interest-based advertising by Google. To do this, you must call up the link www.google.de/settings/ads from each of the Internet browsers you use and make the desired settings there.
Further information on terms of use and data protection in the context of Google AdWords can be found at this link http://www.google.de/policies/technologies/ads/.
7 Social plugins
We use social plugins on our website. Plugins are small programs or program packages with which software can be adapted and expanded according to your own needs. Many programs such as graphics programs, media players or Internet browsers support the functions that normal users need in their basic version.
We have included links to our social media profiles on the following social networks on our website:
- Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA
- LinkedIn Inc, 2029 Stierlin Ct, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA
When you access a link to one of our social media profiles, a direct connection is established between your browser and the server of the relevant social network. This provides the network with the information that you have visited our website with your IP address and accessed the link. If you access a link to a network while you are logged into your account on the network in question, the content of our site can be linked to your profile on the network, which means that the network can directly associate your visit to our website with your user account and we receive your personal data such as name, email, location, friends list and profile picture. This data enables us to offer certain functions on the pages. If you wish to prevent this, you should log out before clicking on the relevant links. An assignment takes place in any case if you log in to the relevant network after clicking on the link.
If you are logged in to a social network via your user account while visiting our website, the respective provider can also assign the visit to the page to your user account. If you interact with a plug-in, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a server of the respective provider in the USA and stored there. The information is also published via your user account in the respective social network and displayed to your contacts there.
Even if you are not logged in to the providers of the plug-ins during your visit to our website, the data collected by the plug-ins may be assigned to your respective user account. A plug-in sets a cookie with an identifier each time the website is accessed. As your browser sends this cookie every time you connect to a server of the respective provider without being asked, the social networks could in principle use it to create a profile of which website the user belonging to the identifier has accessed. If necessary, it would then be possible to assign this identifier to a person again later - for example when logging in to the provider at a later date.
You can also select the "Block third-party cookies" function in your browser settings, in which case your browser will not send any cookies to the respective social network server. With this setting, however, other cross-page functions of other providers may no longer work in addition to the plug-ins.
For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of your personal data, please refer to the privacy policies of the respective providers. There you will also find further information on your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy as well as your right to object to the creation of user profiles:
8 Your rights
If the legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest in the processing of your personal data, you can object to such data processing at any time.
You can also withdraw your consent for us to process your personal data at any time.
In addition, you have the rights to information, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability with regard to your personal data. If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Please contact info@gewerbe-treuhand.ch if you have any questions, suggestions or requests.
9 Use of the website by minors
The website is intended for an adult audience. Minors, in particular children under the age of 16, are prohibited from transmitting personal data to us or registering for a service without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. If we discover that such data has been transmitted to us, it will be deleted. The parents (or legal guardian) of the child can contact us and request the deletion or deregistration.
10 Data security
We take technical and organizational security precautions to protect your personal data against manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons and to ensure the protection of your rights and compliance with the applicable data protection regulations.
The measures taken are intended to guarantee the confidentiality and integrity of your data and to ensure the availability and resilience of our systems and services when processing your data in the long term. They should also ensure the rapid restoration of the availability of your data and access to it in the event of a physical or technical incident.
Our security measures also include the encryption of your data. When your data is transmitted to us, it is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS) / HTTPS encryption. All information that you enter online is transmitted via an encrypted transmission path. This means that this information cannot be viewed by unauthorized third parties at any time.
Our data processing and security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
Our own internal data protection is also guaranteed. Our employees and the service companies commissioned by us are obliged to maintain confidentiality and to comply with data protection regulations.
11 Links to websites of other providers
Our websites may contain links to websites of other providers that are not covered by this privacy policy. After clicking on the link, we no longer have any influence on the processing of any data transmitted to the third party by clicking on the link (such as the IP address or the URL on which the link is located), as the behavior of third parties is naturally beyond our control. We can therefore accept no responsibility for the processing of your data by third parties. Insofar as the collection, processing or use of personal data is associated with the use of the websites of other providers, please refer to the data protection notices of the respective providers.
12 Changes to the privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy if necessary.
