80 years of Gewerbe-Treuhand

Our company was founded in 1944 by the Trade Association of the Canton of Lucerne. The KGL wanted to offer Businesses in the Canton of Lucerne support for administrative work such as bookkeeping, annual financial statements and tax returns. The accounting office for businesses started with one employee. The services were popular and so the Eichwald Real Estate Cooperative built its first own office building at Eichwaldstrasse 13 in 1969. Due to the steady growth, the KGL decided to transform the sole proprietorship into a public limited company in 1974. Today, Gewerbe-Treuhand AG, with over 170 employees at eight locations in Central Switzerland, serves 5,000 Businesses and Individuals with comprehensive services from foundation to succession planning and throughout the entire life cycle.
