1.1 Update to version 2025 - General information

Abacus Research AG provides all licensees with continuously updated program versions. This includes new developments and improvements in the technical and user areas. It is essential for Gewerbe-Treuhand to update its Abacus installation periodically. Users will be informed separately in advance of the exact time of the maintenance window.

1.2 AbaClient

We ask all AbaWeb customers to keep the 'AbaClient' app installed locally on the device up to date. Abacus can no longer be started with an outdated version of AbaClient. Updates can be searched for and installed in the 'AbaClient Settings' app.

1.3 New AbaMenu

We recommend that all users use the new AbaMenu, which was activated with version 2024. The full-text search field and the existing favorites make it easier to use. We will inform you about important new features via News. The old AbaMenu will only be available temporarily.

1.4 Outlook: Abacus Browser Edition

Abacus has begun the gradual introduction of a new user interface, the Abacus Browser Edition. This will allow all Abacus applications to be used via a web browser on any device in the future.

1.5 Outlook: Abacus Intelligence

Thanks to Abacus Intelligence, the new AI functions of Abacus, everyday work will become even easier. Gewerbe-Treuhand will gradually activate the functions, starting with the assistant. The assistant will answer your questions in the chat and provide valuable tips and tricks for using the Abacus software.
